Critics' Take
Critics call the Buds4 Pro Samsung's best earbuds yet, with sound that reviewers rank alongside the AirPods Pro 3 and Sony WF-1000XM6 and noise cancellation that most find strong. The redesigned stem and metal finish are liked, and fit is comfortable for most. Battery life of about 6 hours with ANC, hard-to-swap tips and features that need a recent Galaxy phone keep the scores below the top tier.
What critics loved
- Detailed, balanced sound
- Strong noise cancellation
- Comfortable, refined stem design
- Rich feature set on Galaxy phones
Common gripes
- Best features need a recent Galaxy phone
- Battery life of roughly 6 hours with ANC
- Fit can loosen during workouts
- No true multipoint and only three tip sizes
- Tactile controls feel laggy
